Marco has played in many great Houston bands including Global Village.  Music has always been important in his life.  He began playing violin at age 6, trumpet at age 10, guitar at age 14 and bass at age 20!  His influences include James Brown, Prince, SRV, Bernard Edwards and Louis Johnson.  His favorite genre is  New Age/Instrumental music.  Marco has been with Spare Parts since October 1999 and adds that special funk that makes you want to get up and dance.  He plays any style of music with soul, finesse and impeccable rhythm.   Marco is married with two children.  He is a "news junkie" and enjoys politics.
